Below is some GPS software that I have been looking into to see if my idea of using GPS as an wayfinding system onboard a bike is possible or not. Cyclemeter is an application that is available for I-phone users that gives you information about your progress whilst you are cycling. The idea is to give you motivation to work harder to achieve your target so that you get healthier.My idea is to implement this technology into a cycle rout navigation system that shows you around cities and that gives you information about the locations you are visiting. This software will give many different options and route for tourists to take through advise and opinions of previous tourist. It will be a data bank of routes that suit the places you want to explore.
