Fashion Yearbook: Context_Rasterblock

After talking to Paul this week and persuading him not to go down the colour direction for separating the two different fashion routs. I came up with the idea of using shades of diagonal lines that will separate and distinguish the two separate pathways. Below is a branding specification publication by Design Made In Germany . The design is really minimal and industrial. Something that we wanted originally for the publication. However we must make sure that the design doesn't go too much towards graphic design and less fashion. I do feel though if we get the weights right then we can achieve a nice piece of design that will compliment the images for the fashion year books. Possibly i might speak to Adam Fussell (Photographer) and get him to edit the pictures with a grainy effect. Think it would work really nice with the pages of the publication. I have also mentioned to paul about doing some master pages so each page is slightly different. makes the publication less predicable and more structured.
